The Chive Dress is an advanced beginner pattern that works in mid-weight knits. The Chive dress is a casual fitted short knit dress with a crew neck and elbow length puffed sleeves. The dress has a contoured back. The front has a seam at the waist with two folded pockets. The bottom edge of the dress hits mid thigh and the hem is left raw.
The short length lends itself to being worn layered over tights or leggings, with sneakers or boots for a cozy look when there’s extra chill in the air. On warmer days, the Chive dress can be worn without layers underneath, so have fun styling with fun accessories like belts, sandals and shoes.
It comes with an A0 copy shop pattern, a projector pattern and a letter size pattern to print at home. The file has size layers so you can choose to see just the sizes you want.
The Chive Dress is designed with little ease, but is hip and booty friend.
This pattern required 1.5 to 2.5 yards of fabric at 60" wide, sizing from 0/2 to 32/34. Max size bust 62" waist 54" hip 64"
