This is a pdf pattern for the caladium jumpsuit pattern.
The caladium jumpsuit is an easy beginner friendly pattern that works in many different fabrics. It can worn over a swimsuit for a day at the beach or over a sweater and tights. It has large armholes so it can be paired with the frilliest of shirts.
It comes with an A0 copy shop pattern, a projector pattern and a letter size pattern to print at home. The file has size layers so you can choose to see just the sizes you want.
The caladium jumpsuit has generous ease and can fit up to size 60" hip.
This pattern required 2.5 yards of fabric at 54" wide or 3 yards of fabric at 45" wide.

I've already made 2 of these jumpsuits! So easy, co comfy!
I bought this pattern to make something to wear in the British heatwave this month and it is perfect. The garment is loose and flattering (fab for an apple shaped UK20) and of course the pockets are a must. The construction is simple and the instructions are straight forward with the right amount of detail and helpful tips. I was also pleased when I got to the end to find that I could to choose the height of my neckline. Just a dream! I’ll be wearing it all summer whilst looking for the right fabric to make another one for autumn. (And maybe another one for summer!)
This was one of my first patterns to sew ever. I was looking for a specific style of neckline for a really relaxed jumpsuit. I found this one, altered the neckline and made it a back and front v neckline. It’s perfect. The sew itself is pretty straightforward and her instructions and videos on her insta are great! You can tell that there’s a real passion for sewing with her and she’s a joy to support. I’ve also bought the Evie swimsuit and even though it is much more challenging (it being both Lycra and reversible) it is still straightforward and perfect for what I was looking for. I plan to make multiple in both patterns.
During a recent Saturday morning I was able to stitch up my first Caladium to wear to a baby shower that afternoon! It was quick and easy, and the instructions were well written and easy to follow. I used a rayon/linen blend fabric that was was medium weight but had a very nice drape. This won’t be my last Caladium!
I made a jumpsuit and am currently wearing it as I type this. It's super comfy, super easy, and now I'm going to buy fabric to make 10 more!!!
