Great summer dress

This dress is perfect for summer, easy to make and wear. I have made it once but have several pieces of fabric I am imagining it in, so I think it will be a perfect dress up or casual dress.

This dress and the drafting and the very idea are just great! Easy to fit, feels good on. Good use of fabric. Can be hacked in lots of ways. I’m really happy with my makes two dresses so far and one top. I think it would also make a lovely nightie in lawn. I used the curvy block I’m usually a 16 but made up the 14 and it fits great. I redrafted the dart by copying one on another pattern I really liked. I’ve used light weight cheese cloth type fabrics made up with all the ruffles. For winter I’ll make one without ruffles in a light weight wool as a pinafore … thank you very much for drafting and making available such a lovely pattern. I can’t wait to see what you present us with next xxxx
