A wearable work of art, entirely handcrafted over 100 hours from vintage shell and plastic buttons, hand-dyed by the maker, and linked together with gold-colored iron jump rings into a fluid, body-skimming mini dress.
The construction draws on the chainmail tradition — each button is individually connected through hand-formed jump rings, creating horizontal rows that drape and move with the body. The open-weave structure catches light beautifully, shifting from blush to rose to coral depending on the angle.
Was built on a size 8 dress form but is best for a size 0-6
Materials & Construction
- Vintage shell and plastic buttons, hand-dyed

- Spaghetti straps constructed from linked buttons and jump rings
- Approximate weight: 5 lbs
One of a Kind
This dress is a singular piece — no two buttons are identical, and the hand-dyeing process ensures a color palette that exists nowhere else. It cannot be replicated.
